Award for environmentally conscious and sustainable business practices – our bronze “DEHOGA Environmental Check”
Participants in the “DEHOGA Environmental Check” must undergo a critical review of their energy and water consumption, waste production and residual waste, and food, such as regional purchasing. Differentiated limit values and requirements are defined for each of the four categories for the respective award levels. The individual characteristics of the businesses are taken into account comprehensively.
The “DEHOGA Environmental Check” is the continuation of the DEHOGA Federal Association's hospitality industry energy campaign, which was launched in 2006 in collaboration with the Federal Ministry for the Environment and in which almost 6,000 hospitality businesses are now participating. The “DEHOGA Environmental Check” was designed for the specific requirements of the hospitality industry and its predominantly small and medium-sized businesses. In addition to its industry relevance and practicality, it enables a fair and transparent comparison of the participating businesses.
All businesses awarded the “DEHOGA Environmental Check” are published on the website at www.dehoga-umweltcheck.de. There you will also find all further detailed information about the “DEHOGA Environmental Check.”
