The Best Western Hotel Kaiserslautern is located on Kaiserslautern's Betzenberg hill, close to the Fritz Walter Stadium and Betzenberg Wildlife Park. A6 from the east: Exit 16b Kaiserslautern-Centrum – Mainzer Str. – turn left onto Donnersbergstr. – turn right onto Entersweilerstr. / B37 – continue on B37 – turn left onto Kantstr. – turn left onto St.Quentin-Ring – the Best Western Hotel Kaiserslautern is on the left-hand side.

A6 from the west: Take exit 15 Kaiserslautern-West – B270 towards Kaiserslautern-West / Lauterecken / Opel – continue on B270 towards Waldfischbach / Kaiserslautern – on Pariser Str. / B37 via the Centrum ramp – turn slightly left onto B37 – take the second exit at the roundabout. Take the second exit (Kohlenhofstr.) – turn right onto Kantstr. – turn left onto St.Quentin-Ring – the Best Western Hotel Kaiserslautern is on the left-hand side.

Our hotel has 40 free parking spaces in front of the hotel (subject to availability), as well as 2 bus parking spaces.

There are a further 45 parking spaces in the hotel's underground car park for € 5.50 per day per car.

You can also charge your electric car free of charge at two Tesla charging stations and one electric charging station in the underground car park, subject to availability.

Kaiserslautern town hall

Rathaus Kaiserslautern mit moderner Hochhausfassade hinter antiken Ruinen und Grünflächen bei teils bewölktem Himmel.

At 84 meters, it is one of the city's most striking landmarks. From the Panorama Restaurant on the 21st floor, which is open daily from 5:30 p.m., you have a magnificent view of the city and the Palatinate Forest.

Casimir Castle

Casimirschloss aus rotem Backstein mit Rundbögen, Innenhof mit Pflanzkübeln, Bänken und Bäumen bei teils bewölktem Himmel.

The history of Kaiserslautern spans more than 1,300 years. The Pfalzgrafensaal (Palatinate Hall) in the former Casimir Castle is used by the city for official receptions and events. Preserved walls, stone blocks, and foundation walls, as well as reconstructed and supplemented parts of the building, offer a glimpse into the past. History comes alive during guided tours of the castle grounds and underground passages.

Event location "Fruchthalle"

Fruchthalle Kaiserslautern bei Dämmerung, beleuchtet mit warmem Licht, mit Rundbogenfenstern und verzierten Gesimsen.

Built between 1843 and 1846 in the Renaissance style, modeled on the Palazzo Medici in Florence, it served as a market hall. Today, concerts and large social events are held in the ballroom.

Collegiate church

Innenraum einer Kirche mit hohen Gewölbedecken, roten Steinsäulen, Rundfenster mit Buntglas und Stuhlreihen im Kirchenschiff.

Considered the most important late Gothic hall church in southwestern Germany. Construction of the choir began in the second half of the 13th century, while the nave was built in the 14th century. The carillon plays daily at: 9:31 a.m., 11:01 a.m., 12:31 p.m., 3:01 p.m., 4:31 p.m., 6:31 p.m., and 8:01 p.m. (subject to change).

Japanese Garden

The Japanese Garden is one of the largest of its kind in Europe. Carefully selected plants, ponds, waterfalls, fish, lanterns, and stone arrangements conjure up a Far Eastern atmosphere in which body and soul can find peace. The Japanese Garden is open daily (except Mondays) from April to October.

The Garden Show

Park mit lebensgroßen Dinosaurier-Skulpturen, im Vordergrund ein Triceratops nahe einem Bach, umgeben von Bäumen und Spaziergängern.

Held every year from April to October on the 22-hectare site. Changing indoor flower shows, various themed gardens, one of Europe's largest dinosaur exhibitions, exhibitions, and an extensive cultural program make a visit to the park a pleasure. From the Kaiserberg, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the city; Neumühlenpark attracts young visitors in particular with leisure facilities such as a skate park, beach volleyball court, water playground, and adventure golf course.

Fritz Walter Stadium

It towers high above the city. Originally called “Betzenberg Stadium,” it was named after the hill on which it stands. The stadium, which can accommodate nearly 50,000 fans, is the home of 1. FC Kaiserslautern and is one of the most beautiful and atmospheric soccer arenas in Germany. Tours are available as part of guided tours.

Betzenberg Wildlife Park

The 25-hectare wildlife park with its 120-year-old trees is home to animals that live in the wild in our region or were once native to it, such as roe deer, aurochs, wild horses, red deer, mouflons, wild boars, and lynxes. Open daily. Admission is free.

Humberg Tower

Humbergturm mit grünem Spitzdach, umgeben von Bäumen, mit Blick auf eine Stadt im Hintergrund unter leicht bewölktem Himmel.

If you want to get an overview of the city, you can climb the Humberg Tower, located on the southern outskirts. A spiral staircase leads to the viewing platform of the tower, which was built in 1899/1900.

Kaiserslautern Zoo

Zwei Trampeltiere auf sandigem Boden, eines frisst Blätter, das andere steht daneben; im Hintergrund Bäume.

Currently, the zoo, located in the Siegelbach district, is home to around 631 animals from more than 110 species on an area of approximately 7 hectares. A playground for young visitors with a nature trail and guided tours round off the visit.
